  2. Yes, I dress up for Halloween! I think that as long as the kids are going to be all dressed up and crazy I might as well join the party. Usually I am a witch. I hope to be a little more creative this year and be a character from a book. Any ideas?

  3. Since I have a Treasure theme this year in the library -I am going to dress up as a girl pirate, I have a pink pirate hat all ready to go!

Janice -You could be a witch from The Witches book by Roald Dahl.(I know that most of my students had not even heard of Roald Dahl). Maybe preview the book to some of the classes. You could wear the long gloves they wear and a wig. Carry a little mouse figurine or something silly.

  4. Since the kids do, I do. It lets them see another side of meand helps build a connection. I usually dress as a witch (I have a great hat!) but I have misplaced my "corpse hair". So I think I will be a '70s hippie. Not too fara astretch :)

  5. Oops - grabbing a bite to eat and typing messes up my spelling - though I could go as Farrah Fawcett.

  6. Yes, I dress up as a witch but this year I'll probably be a pirate. I think that it's good to join the fun by dressing up.
