Thank you for your birthday wishes. I was talking to my sister last night and told her I didn't feel to bad for an old man - the problem is I'm not that old. and then I realized that in 3 years I'll be 60! So maybe I am getting there sooner that I thought.
Thursday - the actual birthday was no big deal. But with the Chinese Lunar New Year on Friday the 31st, My children and their kids (9), as well as a neighbor family from Taiwan (3), and my wife and I had a day of making Dumplings (pot stickers), steaming and frying them and then eating them, along with some Egg-drop Soup. My rough count is that we made about 550 of them. Years ago I used to have to chop all the ingredients for the filling by hand, and it was tiring and long, now my daughter has all the filling done in an hour with her food processer. It was wonderful family time.
Happy Birthday, Joseph!! I love the picture. I didn't know we could submit our own picture. That is cool.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to the Man in the Hat!
