Since I only have six computers in the library, I don't have many chances to show how to do the same thing in multiple ways. I usually pick one way (especially since I work with 2nd-5th graders) and teach them that. And I've been choosing Classic Destiny. But I would be curious to know if you think I should try something else...
I am not sure i know which is which just by name. Like Pamela, the database is used mostly in research, and there they use the same as we get when looking up books via the search tab in ciculation. I guess that is the "Classic" version.
I have only taught the "Classic" My 2nd graders are constantly on searching for books. I am sure they would love the "Quest" but would I ever get them off the computer to actually check out their books?

ReplyDeleteClassic, since it's the one I've taught them about.
ReplyDeleteWe've only used the classic version. But that's my fault because I haven't shown them Destiny Quest.
ReplyDeleteI've shown them both but they tend to use the classic version.
ReplyDeleteI am the same as some of you. I have only shown them the classic version. However, I have seen some of the students on Destiny Quest.
