We were able to obtain copies of a couple of the award honor books for 2014. We have a copy of Doll Bones, a Newbery Honor Book, and Journey, a Caldecott Honor Book.
We had blogged about both of these books in a posting on January 8th. We went back and put the names of all who commented on these books into a hat and drew out:
Jeane B. who wins a copy of Bones
Marilyn who wins a copy of Journey

ReplyDeleteI just looked up Doll Bones. Sounds like it is pretty scary. Made for students in middle school.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I love Journey, what a beautiful book. Doll Bones is not very scary, it made me want to do research on the china companies in Ohio, where I grew up.
