Today is Sarah's birthday! Sarah is an incredible asset to her school and community. She is committed to libraries and is even on a community committee to make plans for the new neighborhood public library in the Glendale area. Happy birthday to her!
At this moment, I could really enjoy a large slice of your birthday cake. I am now researching how to make an old-fashioned BURNT SUGAR CAKE. My mother made this, but it is an "art form" and not for the faint-hearted to tackle. I will let you know how it turns out.
Mary, I meant to bring in a piece of Great Harvest pumpkin chocolate chip bread for lunch but... I may have a recipe for burnt sugar cake. I will let you know if I find it!
