Glogster - Maybe a Beginning of the Year Presentation?

Check out this great Glog that Marianne made.  Don't miss the little video she embedded.  Her dog has admirable self-control!

She also put a Wordle right into her Glog.  It's about her favorite books.  :-)

This would be a fun thing to show to students at the beginning of the year.

If you experiment with Glogster, don't forget to use Glogster.Edu---not regular Glogster.

  1. Wow! Way to go, Marianne. You are an inspiration. I'm sorry I couldn't stay for that the whole presentation on Glogster. Luckily I've had some exposure to it previously. I had to rush off to ESL class. I would much rather have stayed with you all.

  2. I had so much fun creating this! I have a link to it on my library website so students and parents can click on it. I'm dying to use Glogster with students as a final product for one of our research classes.

  5. I, of course being a dog lover, loved it:, Marianne. I want to use Glogster with my classes but unfortunately now I will have to wait for next Fall because of all the testing at the end of the year and basically losing my "library" hat and replacing it with the "testing" hat. I'm so glad to have something else to show students other than photostory.

  6. I am sorry that I had parent teacher conferences during our last librarian meeting. :( Marianne, I will contact you with my Glogster questions since you are the expert!

  7. After viewing your Glog & watching the video twice, I am still smiling. Your dog was so self-disciplined to wait for the cookie-a good image in my mind to remember when eating too many treats. Also, loved seeing your top ten books with solid values for young people.

  9. Marianne, you are great. Sophie is the best! Made my day, and I had to show it to several other teachers. They love it. I am a happy resource for my faculty! I just purchased two years at $20 a year for 200 student accounts. I am going to do country reports with the sixth grade. Cross my fingers and hope I can make it work.
